1/2 pound bulk Breakfast Sausage
1/4 cup Butter
1 clove Garlic, crushed
1 cup fresh Mushrooms, sliced
1/2 cup Celery, chopped
3/4 cup Onion, chopped
1/2 teaspoon dried Thyme
1/2 teaspoons dried Sage
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1/4 teaspoon Pepper
10 oz unseasoned Stuffing Cubes*
2 cups Chicken Broth*
Directions:
In a large skillet, brown sausage and drain.
Add butter, garlic, mushrooms, celery and onion; sauté 2-3 minutes or until
onion is tender.
Stir in poultry seasoning, salt and pepper.
Transfer to a large bowl. Add croutons, and broth 1/2 cup at a time until moistened.
Place in a greased 2 quart baking dish.
Cover and bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
Uncover and bake 10 minutes more.
